Summer Fashion: Summer Staples | June 2014
Summer staples are all different for everyone. For me the fashion piece that I must have are dresses specifically smock dresses. Not the most fashionable but they are the easiest to wear, make, and most comfortable. I usually wear them when I’m only going to the store or around the house. I usually throw on cuter dresses or skirts or shorts when I’m actually meeting people.
I have made so many of them over the years because they are so easy. Sew one seam down the back, maybe hem it, and maybe add some straps. I have made 8 of them so far, each in a different pattern.
What is your summer staple fashion piece? It may not be what everyone else wears but it’s what makes you feel comfortable.
