Summer Fashion: 4th of July | July 2016
Here in Washington, DC, the 4th of July is somewhat of a big deal. I mean it is our nation’s capital, so that means that there are tons of tourist here enjoying all the sites that we have to offer.
Some of the best places here across the river are the Iwo Jima Memorial and also the bell tower that we received from the Netherlands during the 15th anniversary of WW II ending. Both of these sites are also right next to Arlington National Cemetery.
Choosing how to wear Red, White, or Blue is a tough decision for the holiday. You have to choose how to show your patriotism with your outfit (Dress shown from H&M here is a Similar), if you want to wear a flag emblem or go with a color scheme. Next, you must decide on what type of makeup and hair to have, etc. There are so many options that you can choose from.
I chose a blue & white polka dot dress, pearl jewelry, a red flower in the hair, bronze eye, and a red lip (Rimmel Lipliner ; Revlon Lipstick). This outfit gave me a ’50s vibe and would have looked even better with curled hair.
