Where Have I Been? | February 2018
Oh gosh! I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since I’ve really posted anything on the internet (maybe a couple of tweets here and there). I took an unexpected break from posting. I don’t really have an excuse as to why I did.
Here’s the thing though…… I don’t want to make excuses but this may sound like it.
Back in January I started a full time position. It’s something that I have wanted for a long time and I finally got an offer. It’s doing a lot of the things that I want to do and some new challenges too. With taking this job, I haven’t had as much free time to really do many hobbies.
I have been splitting my time a lot between multiple places and I haven’t really had a chance to keep up with it all.
Another reason is that I just haven’t been inspired. I have so many ideas on where I want to take this blog but I haven’t really been able to execute them. Either the outfit isn’t right, the makeup and hair isn’t right, the lighting and weather is bad, I can’t think of a location, the photos don’t turn out right, or my computer is dying.
I’ve never really done this blog for likes or recognition or comments, but I think a little part of the reason that I haven’t been inspired is that I never get feedback. I would love to get feedback and to see what you all want to see or not see. Sometimes when you don’t know what readers want to see, you kind of loose inspiration because it’s a little tiring trying to think of completely new things to post every time.
I’m trying to get back on to a schedule and hopefully will find the best way to continue one of the things that I love to do (my blog of course!).
