Makeup Look: Natural Everyday | November 2016
Over the years, I feel like I have mastered the minimal, everyday makeup look. This is a look to wear to work, school, job interviews, or everyday. I feel like everyone has their own variation of what they think is an everyday look.
Most of the time I go bare faced. If I really want to amp it up most of the time I throw on concealer and maybe some face powder. This look will be if I decided to really go all out for a natural look.
I try to focus most of my efforts on evening out my skin if I put on any makeup. This just makes me feel better (and it always has). I will first start out with face primer (sometimes I will also do eye primer if I have time). Then I will move onto concealer, both under eye, and blemish. I will also throw the blemish concealer on an noticeable redness that I have that day. Then I will buff on a powder foundation if I want coverage. I think powder foundation is great for everyday as it is easy and looks decent (you can always run a damp sponge or spray setting spray if you feel like you look cakey). If I’m feeling up to it, I will throw on blush (most of the time I don’t really bother).
Moving on to eyes…..
If I feel like eyeshadow (as in, if I have time) I will just throw on an a cream (Shade Shown: Paris Beach) all over and a taupe (Shade Shown: Cafe Au Lait) in the crease. Then I will throw on some mascara on my top lashes (sometimes my bottom, if I feel like amping it up). Then I will lightly run some tinted brow gel through my brows (if they aren’t looking full).
For most days, I leave my lips bare. I sometimes throw on regular or tinted lip balm. When I want to look like I actually cared that day, I will throw on a neutral color of lipstick (Shade Shown: Darling) that goes with most everything. This color is perfect because it is pretty much the color of my lips but it just makes it look more polished.
I think this look just makes the average person look a little more polished when they need to.
I love no makeup days, I love glam makeup days, and I also love natural makeup days.
