Eyeshadow Palette Replacement | October 2019
I’ve been going through my makeup lately and have been trying to figuring out when I bought things to see if they are past their expiration. I am very good at tossing old mascara and eyeliner but not so good at tossing eye shadow palettes or lipsticks or blush/bronzer.
I think this has too do with how expensive eye shadow palettes are, I vary rarely wear a lot of my lipsticks, and blush/bronzer last almost forever since there is so much product.
I have been looking into replacing some of my eye shadow palettes (whenever they go on sale). My main focus to replace is the LORAC PRO 1 Palette and the LORAC PRO to Go Palette.
My only problem is the PRO to Go has been discontinued (PRO 1 is still being sold at Ulta). I have been thinking about creating a dupes palette from single shadows (since they are my favorite go to colors) and maybe throw in some other shades I like or finding a small pre-made palette (9 shadows or less). MAC, Make Up For Ever, Ulta Beauty, and NYX seem to have the most dupes for each of the shadows in the palette. I am not really focusing on finding replacements for the cheek colors yet since I have many that I use already.
I can’t decide what formula to go with for the shadows if I go the single shadow route. I’ve never tried any of the formulas listed above but I’ve heard good things about each of them.
